Sweden's Next Dictionary Changes The Game With A Gender Neutral Pronoun

Sweden just changed the game, y'all.
Language enthusiasts perusing the next Swedish dictionary will find, alongside han (meaning "he") and hon (meaning "her"), a new gender neutral pronoun: hen.
Hen will be used as the formal introduction for transgender individuals or those who do not know their gender identity.
The introduction of the pronoun is seen as a massive step-forward, even in the already-progressive nation of Sweden.
According to Radio National, hen has actually been used in Sweden since the 1960s, though its inclusion in the dictionary is considered a mainstream endorsement of the terminology.
The question now becomes, which country will next follow in Sweden's footsteps? And, should an English-speaking nation make the first move, will we eventually see a gender neutral pronoun used in Australia?
Here's hoping.
