Surprise! Female-Only Screenings of "Wonder Woman" Have Ruffled Some Men's Feathers
A cinema in the U.S. has decided to host some female-only screenings of Wonder Woman and, unsurprisingly, some men have decided that they want their own damn screenings too.
The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas (the tiny Democratic region in an overwhelmingly Republican state) has decided to celebrate the release of the film by hosting these exclusive sessions.
On their website, they wrote: “The most iconic superheroine in comic book history finally has her own movie and what better way to celebrate than with an all-female screening?”
They further clarified that this meant anyone who is “female-identifying” was allowed to attend, meaning that transgender women are welcome to join too.
The angry-man parade obviously needed to have their say. Luckily for us, Alamo Drafthouse’s social media team clapped-back magnificently.

Why is this article saying that the reaction of men that an all-female screening is predictable, and dismissing it so much? This is a good point, why should there be a screening of a movie where ANYONE is excluded, this is hypocritical and out of order, and this article has a clear bias. "Now that's how you do social media"?, they replied with 'okay' with that last one, nothing special, they had a good argument presented and could not counter it. Just disappointing. .
