Stay Calm: Woolworths Has Released a New "Lion King" Ooshies Advent Calendar

It’s a real Christmas miracle.

Earlier this year, the hunt for Woolworths Lion King Ooshies spiralled into absolute chaos, with people starting bids at $100k for the rare collectables on eBay. Of course, the madness did not stop there. A farmer also decapitated a rare Furry Simba Ooshie on live television, to draw attention to the ecological disaster plaguing the Murray Darling basin.

After a while, the obsession seemed to dissipate. However, it’s about to be reignited again, because Woolworths have released a $40 advent calendar containing new Lion King Ooshies.

When Woolies’ first released Ooshies, shoppers were able to collect one every time they spent $30 in store or online. However, that collect and spend promotion doesn't apply to thee advent calendars.

Instead, you can purchase the advent calendar containing 24 mini Ooshies for $40. Additionally, there are also six large Ooshies up for grabs, which are priced at $10 each. If you're truly committed, you could buy all six for $60.

It’s a Disney lover’s ultimate dream.

Plus, the advent calendar doesn’t have numbers, so you don’t even have to feel guilty about opening the boxes all in one day.

As reported by 7NEWS, the advent calendars were discovered by a shopper, who posted a photo of them in one of the Ooshies buy, swap and sell Facebook groups.
