Spotify's Pretty Keen To Have Obama Join The Team As Its “President Of Playlists”

President Obama has been offered a job at Spotify after (jokingly?) telling a former ambassador that he wanted to work there after leaving the White House; apparently, his playlist-making skills are just that good.

Obama is said to have joked, “I’m still waiting for my job at Spotify”, while chatting to former Swedish ambassador Mark Brzezinski. He said, “Cuz’ I know y’all loved my playlist.”

Clearly identifying his knack for putting together fresh playlists, Spotify put up a job description fit for a, well, president.

The candidate Spotify want for the position 'President of Playlists' must have “at least eight years experience running a highly-regarded nation”, “experience in programming playlists at a federal level", a Nobel Peace Prize and must be “one of the greatest speakers of all time”.

Daniel Ek, the founder of Spotify, even tweeted out the offer.

The funniest part is that the job listing is actually on the website, as in, you can legitimately put in your resume for it.

I mean, the criteria is pretty specific but you never know till you try, right?

Plus, maybe Obama just wants to kick his feet up for a while after the whole “being a President” thing.

I don’t know, sounds like a pretty demanding job.
