"Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game" Is Coming Back After Being Delisted

Hello again, friend of a friend.

Back in 2014, the Ubisoft-published Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game was delisted from digital storefronts, which made it basically impossible to buy or play the game if you didn't already have it.

Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's comics, players loved the game for its nostalgic action and humour. So, it's only natural that everyone was pretty damn annoyed when it was removed. 

In fact, if you didn't managed to purchase the game before it was delisted, you probably felt something like this... 

However, you can officially cheer up now because Ubisoft has announced that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is getting re-released. 

During its September digital conference, Ubisoft revealed that the digital title will be available for Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. 

The publisher also announced that the game will finally be released again in holiday 2020, so we won't have to wait that much longer. 

If you didn't play the game when it first came out, players help Scott Pilgrim take on enemies, including the League of Seven Evil Exes to fight for love. To do so, players can embody Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Stephen Stills and more. 

This will be a Complete Edition of the beat-'em-up, which means it'll include all DLC characters, like Knives Chau and Wallace Wells.

Last month, O'Malley tweeted that he would be surprised if Ubisoft ever released the game again.

Although, it's not entirely surprising that Ubisoft chose to bring the game back this year, considering 2020 marks the 10-year anniversary of Edgar Wright's film adaptation of the graphic novels. 

At this stage, no specific Australian release date has been confirmed yet, but we'll be sure to keep you updated.

So, now we've just got to patiently impatiently wait until holiday 2020.
