Say Goodbye to the Happy Meal As We Know It: McDonald's to Drop Cheeseburger From Happy Meals

2022 will mark the year in history that the cheeseburger was removed from the Happy Meal.

McDonald's stores in the United States will be removing the cheeseburger option in Happy Meals from 2022 in an effort to make the Happy Meal slightly-less junky.

Despite the move, it will still actually be possible to order a cheeseburger Happy Meal but it will be relegated to the 'secret menu' and not promoted.

There's no word yet on whether this decision will be introduced into Australian stores as well. 

While there's definitely a lot more going on in the world to be upset about, it's safe to say that some adults out there, who might've grown up on cheeseburger Happy Meals, are less than pleased.

seriously when I want to eat healthy I don't go to McDonalds, I go there for junky fast food once in a while to have a change/break........
