Sad Shia LaBeouf's Latest Film Sells Single Ticket During Opening Weekend

Shia LaBeouf’s latest film, Man Down, sold a single ticket at the U.K. box office over the weekend.

It earned £7 (roughly $AUD11.50), which is the equivalent of one (cheap?) ticket.

To give context surrounding the pretty dismal sales for the film, it was simultaneously released in only one cinema as well as an online stream.

Still, the Sydney Morning Herald explains that another film, The Void, was also released in one cinema over the weekend and took in £1613 (approximately $AUD2650).

Man Down tells the story of a U.S. Marine returning from Afghanistan who struggles to adjust to life in America when his wife and son go missing.

To add further damage, the film has received some pretty horrific reviews and is sitting at a meagre 15 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes and 26 per cent on Metacritic.
