‘Rise Day’ Is Back For A Second Year, And It’s Your Chance to Kickstart Your Career

Time to RISE to the occasion.
Talent RISE will be running ‘Rise Day’ again in the first week of September this year, aimed at helping young Australians find employment.
After a successful first year, tech recruitment company Talent and their foundation Talent RISE will give young Aussies and New Zealanders the opportunity to call up for free support and guidance around their future careers.
300 volunteers from across the globe will be giving up their time to give young people the support they need.
If you’re interested in the support, you can sign up here to register your details.
Joining up will put you into the Talent RISE database, which will give you access to the latest jobs as well as workshops and industry events.
By talking with one of Talent RISE's volunteers, you can improve your CV, prepare for interviews and make yourself stand out to potential employers.

With Australia’s youth unemployment now at 7.9 per cent, double that of the general population, young people are seeking ways to increase their chances of employment, and Talent RISE is here to create outcomes for young people.
What’s more, two lucky participants will be offered a paid internship at their closest Talent office.
Talent RISE Australia and New Zealand CEO Karen Graham said the program is designed to give young people the tools and guidance they need to enter the workforce.
“Ensuring that young people thrive is important for all of our futures and having meaningful employment is at the heart of this.”
Talent Global CEO Mark Nielsen said the initiative is beneficial to the entire workforce.
“Talent RISE is an important component of what we do at Talent in building a better world of work. Being able to listen, offer support and give back is always so gratifying.”
To date, Talent RISE has helped more than 3000 young people through workshops and has placed more than 400 into employment.

So if you’re keen on getting a head start on your career, register your details and RISE up.
