Rihanna Keeps On Teasing New Album "Anti" Instead Of Just Dropping It Already

Her popping and locking provides little solace.

So, Rihanna didn’t drop her new album Anti over the weekend (as was widely expected), but she did release this cryptic teaser/ Samsung ad, which is basically the same thing, right?

Okay, look, we’re grasping at straws as our anticipation for Anti grows more desperate. Let’s not forget that its first single, “FourFiveSeconds”, debuted back in January. Its follow up, “B**** Better Have My Money”, arrived in March. Seriously, how much longer must we wait?

Surely not much longer. The “Anti World Tour” kicks off in February, after all. Samsung paid Rihanna a cool $US25 million to sponsor the album and its supporting tour, which explains why she’s spruiking their phones in this enigmatic, body-poppin' trailer.

The window of opportunity for RiRi to release Anti in 2015 was seemingly slammed shut by the very sudden unveiling of Adele’s 25. That LP has pretty much broken all the records in its first week of release and will likely dominate the rest of the holiday season.

Rihanna will now have to race Drake and Kanye (who have also been dangling new albums for over a year) to become the first major pop release of 2016.

The world, hungry for more music feuds, awaits their mighty battle.
