Reminder: "Arrested Development" S5 P2 Comes to Foxtel (Not Netflix) in Australia on 16 March

The rest of Arrested Development S5 will be available on Foxtel from 16 March.

Just like the first part of Season Five, the latest batch of Arrested Development episodes will first air on Foxtel in Australia, rather than Netflix (where it's debuting internationally).

Season Five Part 2 will kick off with an ad-break free marathon on Foxtel's The Comedy Channel from Saturday 16 March.

The season's remaining eight episodes will focus on Buster's murder trial, the Bluth's tragic political campaign and, of course, the wacky adventures of Tobias Fünke.

The fifth season of the cult classic has not been without controversy.

Despite the new season being a Netflix production, last year we learned Foxtel still owned the "first-run" rights for any new episodes. (In fact, they've owned them since before Netflix Australia was even a thing.) This meant Foxtel would be premiering Season Five in Australia, rather than Netflix.

Weeks later, ahead of the debut of S5 P1, a few trainwreck interviews landed much of the male cast in hot water.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeffrey Tambor (George Bluth Snr.) revealed he'd yelled at his co-star, Jessica Walter (Lucille Bluth). In a later interview with the New York Times, his comments were brought up and the show's male co-stars (Jason Bateman, Tony Hale and David Cross) defended Tambor's comments by admitting they'd all done the same at some point. This left Walter in tears while Alia Shawkat (Maeby Fünke) tried to defend her.

They later apologised.

Anyhoo, you can watch the second half of the new season on Foxtel's The Comedy Channel from 9am EST on Saturday 16 March.
