Be Delighted By Ralph Fiennes Busting A Move At The Venice Film Festival

The festival circuit can be maddening for an actor. The endless interview junket. The flashing bulbs of the red carpet. The lack of public dance opportunities (aka, dance-portunities).

Mercifully, thespian Ralph Fiennes has flaunted convention by busting out his jig-like moves during a photo call for A Bigger Splash, which just played the Venice Film Festival.

The footloosery of Fiennes was captured by Venice's official Twitter account, and frankly, even though the fest is one of the world's biggest and most influential (certainly in terms of debuting eventual Oscar contenders), this writer would be very surprised if anything more entertaining emerged from its gondolas this year.

Ralph Fiennes was Oscar nominated for the films Schindler's List and The English Patient, and in 2014, he delivered my personal favourite male performance of the year in The Grand Budapest Hotel. And yet... is this the best thing he's ever done?
