A group of pro-refugee protesters have disrupted Question Time at the house of representatives in Canberra after super-gluing their hands to Parliament House railings.
Question Time was running for less than a minute before it was suspended due to the chanting. Demonstrators appeared to be protesting against the proposed changes to the Migration Act.
One protester screamed, “World leaders in cruelty,” as she was removed from Parliament House. The advocacy group labelled it a “humanitarian crisis,” shouting, “You have shamed us on the international stage”.

Around half an hour of Question Time was suspended, but promptly resumed once all protesters were removed.
Cabinet Minister Christopher Pyne said it was the most serious intrusion into the Parliament since 1996, as reported by the ABC.
