Pixar Confirms The Internet’s Favourite Conspiracy Theory: All Their Movies Are Connected

The internet, in its ceaseless quest to find a unifying theory for everything, has insisted for years now that all the Pixar movies are connected.
(Well, connected beyond being made by the same animation studio.)
It has resulted in a steady stream of video essays pointing out Easter Eggs, such as the recurring appearance of at least one character in each subsequent film. (For instance, there’s a toy Nemo in Monster’s Inc., and a toy Lotso in Up.)
Pixar has finally given the internet the equivalent of its ‘Pentagon Papers’, sharing a video on its official Toy Story Facebook page that reveals how their very first film connects to their most recent release, Finding Dory.
Unfortunately, the video does not confirm the more extreme Pixar theory out there: that the events of Brave allowed animals in other Pixar films to gain the power of speech, and that artificial intelligence designed by The Incredibles villain Syndrome led to the rise of toys and cars, resulting in the extinction of mankind and leaving only bugs and Wall-E behind.
Or maybe they’re just a bunch of cute movies?
