“Passengers” Trailer Suggests 90 Years Alone In Space With J-Law And Chris Pratt Is A Bad Thing

Very attractive people Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt have been paired up for a movie about…  actually, do you really even need to know any more to be interested?

In case you’re the rare breed of cinemagoer who needs convincing to see something starring either Lawrence or Pratt, Passengers tells the story of two space travellers on a 120-year flight who accidentally wake-up 90 years too soon.

Though you might think this would only lead to 90 straight years of adorable romance, as the newly-released trailer indicates, there are plenty of technical mishaps (and a robot Michael Sheen) that need dealing with too.

Passengers, not to be confused with the 2008 thriller starring Anne Hathaway that literally no one has ever seen, is directed by The Imitation Game’s Morten Tyldum.

It arrives in Australian cinemas on New Year’s Day, just in time for Oscar season. Might our boy Pratt finally get a Best Actor nomination?
