One Nation Senator Says We Need A "Patriotic Broadcasting" Channel

One Nation senator Brian Burston says the ABC has been in the throes of a "cultural Marxist takeover" and defends the need to establish a patriotic broadcasting company.
Burston says a new "Patriotic Broadcasting Corporation" would better represent the identity of mainstream Australians, and would challenge bias within the ABC.
"The ABC has long ago abandoned any semblance of patriotism, or even balance. Other taxpayer-funded media - SBS and NITV - serve immigrants and indigenous Australians," he said.
"All three broadcasters are biased against mainstream Australia. They distort Australian political culture and support aggressive political multiculturalism."
Details aren't exactly clear as to what kind of programming the "Patriotic Broadcasting Corporation" would necessarily have.

Burston used his first maiden speech to criticise Australia's immigration policy, blaming violet crimes on "aggressive multiculturalism".
He also said that, as a nation, we have lost our focus on the "Anglo-Australian identity".
In a similar fashion to One Nation leader Pauline Hanson's maiden speech, Burston reignited fears around migration and political correctness.
"We are being swamped."
"This crisis is not caused by racism, it is not caused by Christian intolerance, it is caused by Liberal and Labor government colonising Australia, aided and abetted by political correctness," he said.
