Netflix’s "Cursed" Trailer Reveals Katherine Langford Is an Arthurian Hero

Think you know your Arthurian legends?
Netflix has finally released the trailer for Cursed, its upcoming fantasy series about the origins of the Lady of the Lake.
Adapted from Tom Wheeler's New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, the show stars Aussie actress Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why), Devon Terrell (The Professor) and Gustaf Skarsgård (Vikings).
While Netflix had previously dropped a teaser for the series, the full-length trailer gives us far more insight into what the show will actually be about.
Check it out for yourself.
Cursed reimagines the Arthurian legend by telling the story through the eyes of Nimue (Langford). Nimue has mysterious gifts, and she's destined to become the powerful Lady of the Lake.
She must join forces with a young Arthur to deliver an ancient sword to Merlin. On the way, she becomes a symbol of courage and rebels against the red Paladins and King Uther.
Considering the trailer gives off major The Witcher vibes, which is one of Netflix's most popular original shows, we're betting that Cursed is also going to be a hit.
The series is executive produced by Wheeler, Miller, and Leila Gerstein, while Wheeler is also the series' showrunner.
Cursed lands on Netflix on 17 July, so get ready to binge.
