My First Joke with Merrick Watts: A Death-Defying Stunt That Got Him Expelled From School

There's nothing comedians like more than receiving a demand to tell a joke.

Kidding. They hate it.

So instead, we're asking Australia's best comics to tell us their first joke, in all its embarrassing, cringe-worthy glory.

In this episode of 'My First Joke', we cornered stand-up and radio fave Merrick Watts, whose first joke as a teenager almost cost him his life (and definitely got him expelled).

You can see Merrick perform at Perth Fringe World between February 2 and 4, 2017. You can catch the rest of his live dates around the country here.
