Microsoft Calls Out Apple With New Suite Of Bizarre Emojis

Microsoft is keeping it 100 with their new suite of emojis.

According to Emojipedia, a bunch of emoji updates will be unleashed in the mid-2015 release of Windows 10, most of them truly bizarre.

Significantly, Windows 10 will finally let you flip the middle finger via playful emoji (and yes, just like Apple, in a variety of skin tones).

They have also one-upped Apple’s sassy, hair-flick emoji by giving their sassy hair-flicking lady a wink.

Shots fired, people.

There are plenty more new inclusions you can read about here, but perhaps the strangest is the new default skin tone setting of “grey”, making this the “neutral” appearance of all emoji people.

We appreciate Microsoft looking to not cause offense, but this is literally the plot of that Community episode where they try to create an all-inclusive mascot for their college. Remember how that turned out?
