Michael Fassbender Has Face Tatts, Sharp Blades, Kanye Theme Song In "Assassin's Creed" Trailer

Will Michael Fassbender and his Macbeth director (Aussie Justin Kurzel) give us the first truly great game-to-film adaptation?

The trailer for their long-in-the-works Assassin’s Creed has dropped, complete with Kanye’s “I Am A God” on the soundtrack and mysterious narration from Marion Cotillard.

It certainly looks appealing, but we’ve been burnt before when it comes to video game adaptations. (Too many times, even.)

The footage debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live, if that kind of detail matters to you.

You have to wait until December to see the whole film, but this should at least sate the appetite of those who can’t wait until next week to see Fassy be a badass in X-Men: Apocalypse.
