Matt Ox PSA: Someone Is Trying to Destroy the Fidget-Spinning Kid Rapper’s Career on Twitter

You could describe Matt Ox’s stratospheric ascent as like that of a moon-bound rocket that will never, ever come down.
But a mysterious troll has made it their life’s mission to destroy Ox, the 12 or 13-year-old fidget-spinning rapper who scored a recent viral hit with his tune “Overwhelming”.
See, if you search for Matt Ox on Twitter, the first account you’ll find is for @MATTOX215, who apparently joined the service in July of 2016.
And pinned to the top of his account (at least, as of today’s writing) is a racial slur.

Not cool, @MATTOX215!
His 31,000 followers feel the same way.

But here’s the thing: A user at the account of @mattox__ has posted a video in which he claims to be the real Matt Ox, insisting someone has hacked his original @MATTOX215 account.
We’re tempted to say @mattox__ is the real deal, if this “raw” freestyle (so raw he has to clear his throat halfway through) is any indication:
Unfortunately, neither account is verified and @MATTOX215 has thousands more followers, meaning Matt Ox IRL now finds himself in an existential struggle to prove he is the original version of himself.
Talk about overwhelming.
