Matt Okine's "The Other Guy" Will Return for Season Two

Matt Okine's back for another round.
After leaving Triple J, funny guy Matt Okine teamed up with Stan to create The Other Guy; a show that cuts deep while making you chortle.
But it turns out, your favourite sad-comedy is not done making you laugh-cry.
Stan has announced it will return with a second season that's set five months after the events of the first season.
"When a producer approaches AJ to make a TV show about his s***ty life, he thinks he may finally have an opportunity to get back on top," the synopsis reads.
"But, how do you make a show about your life without p***ing off everyone in it?"
If you need a recap on what the first season was about, it was a show about a popular radio host, AJ Amon, who has life turned upside when he finds out his long-term partner has been having an affair with his best friend. There's laughing, there's crying and there are extended shots of actual booty.
When we spoke to him in 2017, we asked him all about his willingness to get nude in front of the camera on his television debut.
"It was a little bit confronting," he told Student Edge.
"I haven't done full frontal comedy yet, so that's what I'm teasing for Season Two."

The Other Guy will feature on Stan but a release date has yet to be announced.
