Mariah ‘Mimi’ Carey Is Making an Autobiographical Show About Her Rise to Fame

The OG queen of sass, Mariah Carey, is preparing to make an autobiographical series about her life and you just know it's going to be HUGE.

Deadline is reporting that the series will be set in 1986, when Carey was about 16 years old, and will follow her subsequent rise to fame as a bi-racial singer-songwriter from a tough childhood.

While the casting hasn't yet been announced, with Carey as Executive Producer, there's bound to be a magical flurry of amazing GIFs coming out of it.

The news follows last year's E! produced docu-series (read: "not" a reality show), Mariah's World, which followed her life as she embarked on tour.

She told the New York Times that she thought "it would be a good opportunity to kind of, like, show my personality and who I am, even though I feel like my real fans have an idea of who I am."
