Some Monash Business School students who participated in the Fastrack entrepreneurship start-up program came together to promote ending food waste through their businesses La Foundary and Wonki Beverages. 

The students running La Foundary, took inspo from microbes by turning  agricultural leftovers (like stems and seeds) into a versatile biomaterial which can be modified to suit different needs. 

While the students running the start-up Wonki take the ‘ugly fruit’ shoppers leave behind at supermarkets which would otherwise go to waste, to create low-sugar vodka premixes.
