Loved-Up Prince Harry Proposed to Meghan Markle Over Roast Chicken

Everyone's favourite red-headed prince is officially off the market.

Prince Harry has proposed to his girlfriend, Suits actor, Meghan Markle, while they were cooking a chicken roast in their cottage together. You know, usual Royal things.

Markle explained, in a BBC interview with the couple, that the proposal happened on "a cosy night" and "it was just an amazing surprise."

"It was so sweet, and natural and very romantic," Markle admitted. "He got down on one knee."

The two have been together for a year-and-a-half after meeting on a blind date. After a few weeks of seeing each other, Harry admits that he convinced her to go on a camping trip to Botswana with him. That's true commitment.

Markle's engagement ring was designed by Harry himself and features a stone from Botswana, where they had their first trip together, and two from Princess Diana's collection.

The wedding is scheduled for the U.K. spring, which means it will be pencilled-in for some time next year between March and May.
