Heartbreaker: Listen To Alan Rickman Narrate The “Alice Through The Looking Glass” Trailer

Because we’re not over it and never will be.

The world was devastated by the untimely death of Alan Rickman at the age of 69 last month, but we were left one final parting gift: his narration of a tortoise eating a strawberry.

Well, we thought it was final.

How could we have forgotten that he’d reprise his role as the Blue Caterpillar in James Bobin’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland sequel, Alice Through The Looking Glass?

A new 30-second teaser ahead of its impending release has been unveiled by Disney, and it smartly puts Rickman’s sonorous voice front and center.

They know we needed to hear it again.

2010’s Alice in Wonderland was, well, whatever, and anticipation wasn’t exactly high for the sequel (from this writer’s perspective). But to have the opportunity to hear the one-of-a-kind Rickman on the big screen a final time?

That might indeed be worth one more trip to Wonderland.
