Let’s All Take a Moment to Appreciate Lennu, the Finnish Presidential Pup

Lennu is an exceptionally cute dog, and who doesn’t like exceptionally cute dogs?
Hint, the answer is: No one.
Pup-lovers worldwide have fallen in love with Lennu, a five-year-old Boston terrier whose owner just so happens to be the President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö. He’s been making a few furry public appearances as of late (the dog, not the President, though I suppose the prez is there too), and seems to have a habit of distracting cameras away from his owner and onto himself.
In other words, Lennu is a very photogenic pup.
Photos of the little guy have been making the rounds on Twitter.

Donald Trump is reportedly the first president in 150 years to not own a pet. The Washington Post says aside from the physical and psychological benefits of having a furry first friend, they also soften the president’s image.
Well, that might explain a lot…
Our own PM, Malcolm Turnbull, had a little terrier pooch called Mellie. Sadly, Mellie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2015.
Turnbull wrote a touching eulogy on his dog-blog, calling the beloved pet a "brave, fond and loyal friend".
Aww, rest in peace.
