Leslie Jones Returns To Twitter, Triumphantly Live-Tweeting "Golden Girls", In Wake Of Website Hack

Leslie Jones, the target of invective on Twitter for – ahem – starring in a Ghostbusters reboot, has returned to social media, following a short absence.

The SNL (and Rio 2016) star had her personal website hacked in August, resulting in her personal information and photos being uploaded to the internet.

After disappearing from the platform for several weeks, she today returned, not by mentioning the plundering of her private information, but by live-tweeting The Golden Girls.

Never change, Lesdoggg.

Later, she thanked well-wishers for their support and reiterated that she was doing okay.

Back in July, Jones briefly walked away from Twitter after receiving an onslaught of racist and abusive messages. The hashtag #LoveForLeslieJ caught fire among her fans and inspired Twitter to finally take action and ban accounts “violating… policies”.

It’s understood that the banning of certain controversial accounts - as a result of the hashtag-activism centered on Jones - made her the target of this most recent doxxing.
