KFC Have Released Xmas in July Jumpers and They’re Wholesome As Heck

Keeping us warm this winter.
Sing with me: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!”
Lol jokes, winter in Australia often sucks, right? Sure, we get the freezing cold and the dodgy weather, but for most of us there’s zero snow, limited wood fires and, of course, no Christmas.
With Australia suffering through a Christmas-less winter and melting through a hot summer, you can’t really blame us for coming up with Chrissy in July. Who doesn’t want to rug up and sing carols?
This year, to help us celebrate the winter season (and a bit of Christmas spirit), our fave fried chicken kings KFC have announced an adorable limited-edition Christmas in July jumper.

The new cosy pullover is a KFC bucket and fried chicken patterned, red and white sweater embroidered with the phrase ‘tis the seasonings’ through the middle. Ah, we love a good Christmas KFC crossover pun.
Not only are they cute as heck but they’re giving me all the best ‘80s vibes and look super warm.

KFC aren’t selling these jumpers just for the heck of it. Instead, they’re hoping to make a difference to Aussie youth by donating all the profits to their charity the KFC Youth Foundation.
“With over 90 per cent of our team members being under the age of 25, supporting Aussie youth is something we’re passionate about. It's our opportunity to give young people the mental wellbeing skills and support they need now and into the future,” they wrote on their Christmas in July website.
“Together with us on this journey, we have three incredible charity partners; The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia and Whitelion, who are all helping young Aussies thrive.”
Check out the bad boi on their Shopify page here.
The jumpers range from X-Small to XXX-Large and will set you back a slightly hefty $59.95 plus delivery.
Unfortunately, because these jumpers were such a must-have, they sold out pretty much instantly. So, we’re keeping our fingers crossed they’ll restock ASAP.

Happy Chrissy in July!
