Actual Workaholic Kanye West Wanted To Set Up A Recording Studio In His Hospital Room

Kanye West has allegedly asked for a makeshift studio to be set up in his hospital room while he recovers from what has been described as a stress related “meltdown”.

According to a US Weekly source, Kanye West is requesting to work from his hospital bed, but his wife, Kim Kardashian, is asking him not to.

“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in bed,” the source told US Weekly.

“And he kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines.” (As if working on his music while recovering wasn’t enough, right?)

The insider said Kim is urging him to rest, but Kanye is adamant about continuing to work.

“Kim wouldn’t leave his side except to see the kids. She’s been at the hospital all the time. Kim has been keeping a very close watch on him and not letting people disturb him,” a source told US Weekly.

Apparently, all kinds of people have called and sent flowers but Kim has been extremely careful about not disturbing him and making sure he recovers.

Update: Kanye West has been released from hospital late Tuesday night, a little over a week since being admitted for a mental breakdown. The initial report comes from x17, and TMZ has confirmed Kanye is at home with Kim and their children.
