Kanye West Calls School Shooting Survivor Emma Gonzalez His Hero, She Does Not Reciprocate

Another day, another Tweet mood board from Kanye West.
We are living in the Second Age of Kanye West's Twitter Presence and oh boy, what a time it is.
The latest from Kanye West HQ is seldom really the latest because, by the time you report on one of his controversial Tweets, four more pop up straight after in a vaguely sensical stream of consciousness.
Alas, we arrive at something that has piqued the most interest of West's recent posts. Despite throwing (some of?) his support Donald Trump's way—a president who stands relatively firmly with the NRA (National Rifle Association)—he called a vocal opponent of pro-gun culture and survivor of the recent Parkland school shooting, Emma Gonzalez, his hero.

He even claimed that his fresh cut was inspired by her bold style.

But Emma, while acknowledging his post, did not feel the same way about Kanye.

Instead, she posted a photo of the Waffle House shooting hero, James Shaw Jr., who wrestled the shooter to the ground, removing his gun; a person who is very deserving of that title but still, the shade of it all.
It should be noted that Kanye West also attend the March for Our Lives rally in Washington D.C. that saw thousands march in protest of lax gun laws, so he's certainly being consistent with this one.
Of all the things that Kanye can be called, "conventional" is definitely not one of them.
