A “Jumanji” Reboot Is Happening, Probably With Kevin Hart And Dwayne Johnson
There are a lot of remakes we could imagine the delightful Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson teaming up for: The Odd Couple. Twins. Heck, even Sideways.
But there was seriously no predicting that the upcoming Central Intelligence stars and recent MTV Movie Awards hosts would join forces for Jumanji. According to Variety, Sony is pretty hot on the idea of bringing the duo back together for their long-gestating reboot of the Robin Williams family flick. Their casting’s not a done deal yet. The two of them are only in early talks, with both of their busy schedules perhaps causing a conflict. (Hart is shooting another remake, The Intouchables, soon, with Johnson gearing up for Fast 8.) Still, the Jumanji remake has a director – Jake Kasdan – and a release date – July 2017 – so this thing is happening whether you like it or not. Based on a 1981 book, you can imagine that the updated take on Jumanji will have little in common with the 1995 original except for the whole ‘board game come to life’ concept. It'll also be more swole. Photo: Warner Bros.Topics

IMO, this shouldn't be done. This combination of Johnson and Hart is a top contender for 'Worst actors paring for any movie ever' award. Dwayne is NOT a good actor. Actually he barely has any talent. Just rode on his WWE fame to find a place in Hollywood. And Kevin Hart is by far the least funniest person who thinks he is the funniest. There's a difference between being childish and being funny. Come on people, this guy has gotten away with it for long enough.
OMFG THE ROCK?!!!!
woooo
They shouldn't do it tbh
Why not?
