Did you know Jamie Foxx is only the fourth artist in history to both win an Oscar for acting and have an album hit #1 in the United States?
Did you also know that he just
pulled a man from a flaming vehicle?

According to
CNN – a legitimate news site to remind you that this event was not simply part of, like,
Stealth 2 – Foxx helped rescue the driver of a pickup truck after his vehicle caught fire in front of the Academy Award winner’s home.
The driver, Brett Kyle, reportedly rolled the truck after travelling “at a high rate of speed” in Moorpark, Ventura County on Monday evening.
When the truck landed on its passenger side, it caught fire, with Kyle trapped inside.
It was then that Foxx rushed to Kyle’s aide, along with an off-duty EMT.

The two of them cut Kyle out of his seat-belt and dragged him to safety.
Speaking to a local news station, Foxx said, “I don't look at it as heroic; I just look at it as... you just had to do something.”
Then he made this face, probably:

Ventura County Fire Department spokesman Capt. Mike Lindberry told CNN, “It was a pretty courageous thing to do.”
"It's rare these days that you find someone willing to jump in to help like that."
As for Kyle, well, he’s been arrested and accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Foxx later met the man's father and shared their encounter on Facebook.
