How to Watch the "iCarly" Reboot in Australia

Relive your childhood.

Well, it's safe to say nostalgia is a big theme at the moment.

If you were a fan of iCarly, which aired between 2007 and 2012, you'll be simply ecstatic to know that the show has returned once again.

Created by Dan Schneider, the popular Nickelodeon series sees Miranda Cosgrove reprise her role as webcast influencer Carly Shay. Except, this time around she'll be tackling adult life alongside former cast members Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress.

Now 26-years-old, Carly is a successful college graduate, and lives with her bestie Harper (Laci Mosley). Spencer (Trainor) found wealth through accidental art-world fame, and Freddie (Kress) has had to move back in with his mum after a failed startup venture.

The reboot features 13 episodes, directed by Jay Kogan (The Simpsons) and Ali Schouten (Champions).

Sadly, Sam—portrayed by Jennette McCurdy—is absent from the reboot (feel free to cry, it's okay). According to a statement given to Newsweek, McCurdy felt "unfulfilled" by the past roles she played, and is busy working on a book she sold to Simon & Schuster and reprising her one-woman stage show.

We love that for her.

I'm sold. How do I watch it in Australia?

The first three episodes of the iCarly reboot have now officially landed on Paramount+, which launched in the US earlier this year.

Unfortunately, Paramount+ is not available to Aussie viewers... yet. As reported by Lifehacker, it's set to arrive down under on 11 August. The massive library will include over 20,000 movies and TV shows such as Mission Impossible, Indiana Jones, Transformers, Lord of the Rings and Austin Powers.

So, it's likely Australian viewers will be able to watch the show via Paramount+ when it launches here. If you want to subscribe to the streaming service, it'll cost you $8.99 a month.

We'll be sure to update you if it becomes available to stream on any other services.

Until then, you can stream all five seasons of iCarly on BINGE. (Affiliate disclosure: Student Edge may earn a commission if you click that link and buy a product from our partner's page.)

Update 27/07/21: The iCarly Reboot will be available to watch on Paramount+ when it launches in Australia on 11 August.
