How to Watch "The Handmaid’s Tale" Season 3 In Australia

Fittingly, it debuts in June.

Rock on: the Handmaids are taking the fight to Gilead in the third season of The Handmaid’s Tale.

The trailer for the upcoming season of the hit, award-winning show has dropped, and it seems Elisabeth Moss’ June is done running, and is instead plotting to topple the literal patriarchy.

That means forming allies—from the looks of it—with Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) and even Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd).

As June says in the teaser, "Mom’s got work."

Though the show airs on the streaming service Hulu in America, Australians will get to enjoy (or rather, endure the sometimes devastating traumas of) new episodes express from the US on SBS.

Here’s what you need to know:

Season 3 of The Handmaid’s Tale begins airing on Thursday 6 June via SBS and SBS On Demand.

Episodes will roll out weekly every Thursday. You can catch-up with Season 2 on SBS On Demand, and find Season 1 on Stan.

As if all of this wasn’t enough, author Margaret Atwood is releasing a long-anticipated sequel to her source novel this September. That’s about when the third season will wrap up on tele. Read about The Testaments (set 15 years after the first book) here.
