How Easy Is This? Check Out the Marriage Equality Postal Survey Ballots Going Out Today

Okay, we added the rainbows.

Today, Australia Post begins delivering the ballots for the marriage equality postal survey to the approximate 16 million Aussies registered to vote.

And if you were worried that the ballot would be a long, confusing, bureaucratic nightmare of ambiguous language and doublespeak, well, it isn't. Not at all!

The ABS has shared a sample of the ballot and the reply paid envelopes on a fancy new website that should answer any lingering questions you have about the survey and how people in remote communities or overseas can vote.

The most important thing to note from the above sample is that you should only mark one box to ensure your vote is counted properly. No need to cross out the option you don't favour.

Also, as was previously stressed: No glitter! We know the temptation is overwhelming, but putting anything other than your ballot in the envelope could void your vote.
