How About That Hottest 100 Winner?

Well, well, well, how about that Hottest 100?

No doubt you’ve spent your Australia Day listening to Triple J’s Hottest 100 and are keen to vent/celebrate the selection of its victor.

Hey, us too.

And this article definitely wasn’t written the day before the Hottest 100 aired. We feel just as angry/ecstatic as you do about the winner!

Believe us: We truly do care about the biggest music poll in the country. We wouldn’t just lazily whip up a templated-article the day beforehand and simply leave a space to enter the winner while away on holiday.

That winner, of course, being:

1. "Hoops" by The Rubens

And the rest of the Top 10 looking like this:

2. "King Kunta" by Kendrick Lamar

3. "Lean On" by Major Lazer & DJ Snake featuring MØ

4. "The Less I Know The Better" by Tame Impala

5. "Let It Happen" by Tame Impala

6. "The Trouble with Us" by Marcus Marr & Chet Faker

7. "Do You Remember" by Jarryd James

8. "The Buzz" by Hermitude featuring Mataya & Young Tapz

9. "Can't Feel My Face" by The Weeknd

10. "Magnets" by Disclosure featuring Lorde

Yes, the long-held favourite/surprise champion took out the top spot, trumping all other comers.

You can read the full list here, probably.

Anyway, enough of us and our opinions. Argue about the results below!
