Here’s the Ultimate Guide to Ordering Bubble Tea At Chatime

Plus, we assembled eight taste testers to try the new Frost-Tea Premium Pearl.
This post is presented in partnership with Chatime.
Whether you’re a bubble tea enthusiast, a first timer or you only stick to fruity teas ‘cos milky ones don’t make your tummy very happy, you know that Chatime is going to have an option for you and your mates.
However, if you’re not super familiar with ordering bubble tea, you might not know where to start.
Don’t stress though, here’s a breakdown on how to order at Chatime.

How to Chatime
There are four different ways you can order your tea, depending on how you’re feeling:
- In-store.
- Using an in-store Kiosk.
- Via the Chatime loyal-tea app.
- Using a third-party app, such as Uber Eats, Easi or Deliveroo.
Next up is the kind of tricky part: actually ordering a drink. Here's how to do it:
- Choose your base: They have milky, fruity, frozen, sparkly, fresh or hot.
- Choose your flavour: This could be coconut, vanilla, apple, guava and more, but availability will depend on the type of drink you selected.
- Choose your milk: They have Australian Dairy Farmers Milk or Vitasoy Soy Milk.
- Choose sweetness and ice level: Drinks usually come at 100 per cent sweetness and 100 per cent ice but you can tailor it to suit your tastes. For example, you can get 50 per cent sweetness and no ice if you want. Some drinks don't have sugar in them, so in this case, you can ask for less syrup instead.
- Choose your Mix-ins: There are 11 options ranging from pearls, rainbow jelly, red beans or even cream mousse, and you can grab as many as you want.
If you have the Chatime loyal-tea app or a Chatime card, make sure you scan to get your points (1000 points = $10).
Then, all that's left to do is pay. You can pay by cash/card or via the points available on your Chatime app/card.
If this guide has you craving bubble tea now, luckily for you, Chatime have added a new drink to their Premium Pearl Milk Tea range that is not only perfect for summer, but should suit any dietary needs: Frost-Tea Premium Pearl.
Blended with smooth ice and milk, the Frost-Tea Premium Pearl comes in both full-cream milk and soy, and features double pearls (my mouth is watering).
The deliciously smooth, cool texture makes it the ideal drink for warmer days. Although, if you’re feeling a bit chilly, you can always try the original cool or hot versions of the tea.
Of course, you’re probably wondering what it actually tastes like. Well, we assembled eight taste testers to try the whole Premium Pearl Milk Tea range to tell us what they thought of the new Frost-Tea.
