Here's Another "Ghostbusters" Trailer To Infuriate Keyboard Warriors (And Entertain The Rest Of Us)

A new trailer for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters has arrived to enrage those with nothing better to do remind you of its impending release.

The latest teaser for the flick shows off Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones doing battle with even more ghostly figures, including the beloved Slimer and what looks a little like a giant version of the classic ‘Ghostbusters’ ghost. (You know, from the symbol?)

We also get to see Chris Hemsworth (playing the Busters’ dim assistant) possessed by a sinister apparition, with only the quartet of powerful ladies able to save him. That should please all the mens’ rights activists who are super excited to watch this reboot when it arrives in July.

Anyway, looks fun!

In case you missed it, the first Ghostbusters trailer won the distinction of being the “most hated in YouTube history”, not because it was mildly disappointing, but because neckbearded downvoters are really struggling with the idea of this franchise being taken over by female actresses.

(Sure, they might argue that theirs is more of a meaningful protest– like this only-metaphorically-neckbearded dude – but you don’t see the same volume of complaints being levelled at the upcoming Spider-Man do-over.)

Anyway, expect much more debate – over, let us remind you, a comedy about ghosts being busted that no one has seen – as the film inches closer to release.

  • I agree! Sure it's a revamp with a feminist edge, but that doesn't mean it's something to disparage and hate on. The hate this movie is getting reminds me of GamersGate a few years back, it's kind of ridiculous and I hope to dear God that the movie will be awesome and prove all the haters wrong.
