Look On My Hair, Ye Mighty, And Despair: Here Are The 2015 Beard & Moustache World Champs

You’ve heard of Movember, but Moctober?

The World Beard and Moustache Championships went down in Austria over the weekend, in which 300 gents competed for, let’s face it (pun intended), the hairiest prizes on the planet.

Entrants from 20 nations battled for victory in the categories of Partial Beard Fu Manchu and Partial Beard Musketeer, to name just the most awesome.

The Americans stole the show by taking six of the 18 titles on the line, with Jackie Lynn Ellison (pictured above, left) stealing the Moustache Imperial crown from last year’s champ, Eugen Hipp of Germany.

In previous years, Germany has ruled supreme. Alas, they only managed five titles in 2015.

Expect their follicular vengeance - led by Wolfgang Schneider, this year's Natural Moustache champ (pictured above, right) - when the World Beard and Moustache Championships takes place in Austin, Texas. The Germans have until 2017 to start growin’.
