Here Are All the Artists Accusing Ariana Grande of Copying Them on "7 Rings"

Turns out, The Sound of Music might not have been the only thing Ariana Grande drew inspiration from.

Ariana Grande has done it again. Late last week she released "7 rings", a certified bop already trending in the number one spot across social media.

But a lot of the internet is noting how familiar the track sounds—a little too familiar—and it's not because of the obvious shout-out to The Sound of Music.

The track draws inspiration from the trend in trap-infused beats and bars, and because Grande is relatively new to this field, the original artists want her to pay credit.

Let's take a look at who's calling her out for stealing their bars and melodies.

Princess Nokia

Princess Nokia was the first to notice the similarities between "7 rings" and one of her own 2017 songs, "Mine".

In a now-deleted Instagram video, the "Tomboy" rapper calls out the similarities, saying, "Ain't that the little song I made about brown women and their hair? Hmm, sounds about white."

Grande stans have pointed out, however, that Princess Nokia might be guilty of this herself. They called out the fact that her 2015's "Orange Blossom" sounds suspiciously similar to Keli Ulchis' "Honey Baby".

Soulja Boy

Next up we have Soulja Boy, the guy mostly famous for a viral dance back when flip phones were the rage. Some believe "7 rings" is just his 2010 track, "Pretty Boy Swag", sped up and made more modern.

Soulja Boy seems to think so as well, calling Grande out on social media.

Arianaaaa?????? Ariana?!

Grande is yet to respond.

2 Chainz

Fans noted that the "7 rings" music video was eerily similar 2 Chainz' Pink Trap House, a promotional gimmick for his 2017 album, Pretty Girls Like Trap.

However, they're also pointing out that his 2011 track "Spend It" was obvious inspo for "7 rings".

To make things right, Ariana really only has one move.

Idea: Ariana should put 2 Chainz, Nokia and SOULJA Boy on the remix. The end #7Rings
