Harry Styles Signs Solo Deal; Will 1D Soon Just Be A Trio?
As if the people of Britain haven't been through enough today, they're now facing another Brexit: this time, from One Direction.
Billboard is reporting that Harry Style signed a solo recording contract with Columbia Records, following in the footsteps of ol' mate Zayn Malik.
Zayn jumped the 1D ship in 2015 to go solo for RCA Records.
Styles is yet to comment on his solo venture, with nameless sources providing Billboard with the scoop.
It's also not known if he's officially planning on leaving the group, or just doing a little solo work on the side.
(He's filming a part in Christopher Nolan's upcoming WW2 flick Dunkirk right now, so he's getting pretty well used to not being attached to the other three.)
As we said when Malik first made a break for it, and fled from his bandmates: it was only going to be a matter of time before Styles followed suit to claim the 1D survivor's crown.
He is the Timberlake to Zayn's JC Chasez (even if "PILLOWTALK" is a banger).
At least Zayn will always have this Tyler the Creator remix.

Well good on him, no point sticking together. They'll die out soon anyways and people are starting to focus on "rapping" music, or mumbling in other words. But good to get out there and just focus on himself. The fans will get used t and hey, there'll be more music coming from all sides instead of their quirky, old new songs.
