Handless Selfie Trend, Really?

Handless Selfie Trend, Really?

Apparently people around the world are taking selfies without their hands by throwing them into the air.

If you're looking for a new and creative way to change up that mirror selfie, look no further.

It's a simple switch up to the regular routine, really.

Stand in front of a mirror, whip your phone out and go to your camera app. Hit the shutter button and immediately throw your phone into the air (seriously). While your phone is hanging out mid-air, clap your hands. Ta-da! A hands free, mirror selfie.

If you've done it correctly you should end up with a blurry selfie and a floating phone. What an achievement?

Side note: We would probably recommend you to get a protective case before you do any kind of activity that requires you to throw your phone in the air.

The trend kicked off on Twitter by a guy called Seth Schneider. Being a man of sensibility, he added a small disclaimer into his biography. It reads: "I am not responsible for any broken phones."

Good call.

There have been a fair few attempts at copying his original photo.

Some brave souls have even dared to do the unthinkable, the unfathomable, a hands free mirror selfie with an additional dab.

Other, more studious, souls are keen to get on the bandwagon but don't really want to put down their books.

Honestly, the things people come up with on the Internet never ceases to amaze us. What's next?
