Hamish Blake Heads to Hollywood With "Wreck-It Ralph" Sequel

That's potential-Oscar-winner Hamish Blake to you, sir.

It's probably not the news you thought you'd ever hear but Hamish Blake, one-half of the Hamish & Andy show, has revealed he'll be voicing a character on the upcoming Wreck-It Ralph sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet.

He announced on Instagram this morning that he will "play the small yet pivotal role" of 'Pyro', a member of a crew that competes in the 'Slaughter Race' (a racing game set in an apocalyptic world).

"If you've read the book, you'll know [Pyro] is just a loveable cool dude but I doubt you've read the book cos there isn't one," Blake cheekily explained.

"Honestly, I'm so pumped to be in this, it's a dream come true and I wanted to keep it a secret till my wife saw it in cinemas but honestly, look at that poster, she was always going to find out."

The upcoming sequel will see Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) enter the internet in search of a new steering wheel to replace a broken one in the arcade.

Ralph Breaks the Internet will be in Australian cinemas on Boxing Day this year.
