Hamish And Andy Have Quit Their Radio Show

All your favourite radio hosts are saying, "we out."

Hamish and Andy today announced on their final show of 2016 that they're hanging up the headphones.

The (relative) good news is that they won't say goodbye, officially, until the end of 2017, after they've completed eight more months of their drive-time program on the Hit Network.

According to Mumbrella, they'll come back for their lengthy, John Farnham-esque goodbye tour at the end of March.

The duo is planning to focus on a new TV show, so you will indeed be able to get your fix of their antics elsewhere.

This marks the end of a 13-year run for Hamish Blake and Andy Lee with SCA (Southern Cross Austereo).

The tears will begin with a special "10 Years in 10 Weeks" retrospective, beginning Monday January 16, 2017, until they're back on the airwaves on March 27.

You officially have one year to steel yourself.
