Halsey and Alev Aydin Welcome Their Baby in a Beautiful Insta Post

Ender Ridley Aydin arrived on Wednesday last week.

In some super heart-warming news, American singer-songwriter Halsey and her partner screenwriter Alev Aydin have just announced the birth of their beautiful first baby, sharing some gorgeous pics on Instagram.

It was just six months ago that the pair announced Halsey’s pregnancy to the world, sharing a bunch of adorable bump pics. But as of today, we’ve said goodbye to the bump and hello to baby.

“Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love,” Halsey wrote on Instagram.

“Ender Ridley Aydin, 7/14/2021.”

The post shares two very raw looking, black and white photos of the family, at what looks like just moments after Halsey gave birth and a beautiful picture of her breastfeeding baby Ender.

So far, the couple have chosen not to reveal Ender’s gender or biological sex, which appears to be an intentional choice considering Halsey goes by both ‘she’ and ‘they’ pronouns.

Alev also shared his own images to Instagram, as well as responding to Halsey’s post in the comments.

"Heart so full. Love you, sweetness,"

Back in February, a source in Us Weekly started some rumours that Halsey and Alev were also engaged, but that they’ve always considered the gesture as “just a title.”

“She wasn’t necessarily hoping to get married before getting pregnant,” the source told the publication.

“Marriage is not the sole focus whatsoever.

“At the end of the day, what matters most is that the baby is healthy and that she has a loving relationship with the father of her baby, and right now, she for sure loves and adores Alev. They are very much in love.”

The source also explained that although it’s not the way the pop star thought she would start a family, she is still “over the moon.”

“She loves Alev and thinks he is a beautiful person,” the source explained.

Just before the announcement of the birth, Halsey revealed the artwork for her fourth studio album titled If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, of which the music and visuals celebrate pregnancy and motherhood.

“This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth,” Halsey shared in an Instagram post

“This cover image celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies as something beautiful, to be admired. We have a long way to go with eradicating the social stigma around bodies & breastfeeding. I hope this can be a step in the right direction!”

All in all, it looks like the happy couple are smitten with their new little angel, and we wish them all the best happiness and health.

Her fourth album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power is out 27 August.
