Groovin the Moo Has Returned With A Massive Line-up, and Honestly, We’re Eating

This lineup is *stacked*.

Thankfully, the COVID pandemic is waning, and festivals are back in a big way.

After being cancelled in 2020 and 2021, and only playing limited shows, Groovin the Moo is back to tour the whole country this year.

This morning, the folks at GTM dropped their line-up, and oof - I’m keen for this.

From Aussie rockers to international rappers and acclaimed DJs, there’s something for everyone this year at GTM.

They’ve pulled out all the stops this year with 10 (yes, 10) huge international acts, including British indie-pop trio alt-J, US rapper Denzel Curry and the GOAT of British rap, Skepta.

But the highlight of the fly-in crowd has to be Fatboy Slim, who’s touring Australia for the first time in five years.

The Australian contingent is filled with classic festival favourites, including Ball Park Music, Skegss, Ocean Alley, The Chats, Amy Shark and Confidence Man.

Some heavy hitters from last week’s Hottest 100 have also been announced, a highlight of which includes Eliza Rose (who hit #2 with B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)) taking the stage.

We also get to see a trio of ‘Teenage’ bands, with Teenage Joans, Teenage Dads, and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers all performing at GTM.

literally my worst nightmare on a lineup - i specifically get these three bands confused on a weekly basis pic.twitter.com/JFSoGdREZO

GTM officially kicks off in Adelaide on 21 April and finishes on 6 May in Bunbury, and all tickets go on sale at midday local time on Tuesday 7 February.

Tickets are available to all ages, including under 18s.
