There's A "Goosebumps" Movie Coming And Here's The Trailer To Prove It

Welcome to Dead House. Night of the Living Dummy. Monster Blood. Phantom of the Auditorium. Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes.

If these words sound familiar to you, it means you had a good, fulfilling childhood.

If they don't ring a bell at all, be grateful there's a new movie coming with the intention of retroactively improving your adolescence.

R.L. Stine’s classic series of creepy Goosebumps novels are being resurrected for one big-screen blowout, starring Jack Black as the author himself.

In director Rob Letterman’s flick, a new kid (Dylan Minnette) moves into the house next door to Stine, and, while trying to romance his daughter (Odeya Rush), accidentally unleashes all the Goosebumps monsters into the real world.

Look, we didn’t say it was going to be a documentary.

The flick hits American cinemas October 16, with an Australian release to follow soon after.

(As long as the horrendous, still-nightmarish-for-adults Egg Monsters from Mars don’t turn up, I’m there.)
