Right now, researchers at the University of Adelaide are providing free meningococcal B vaccines for up to 60,000 students in years 10, 11 and 12.
The study marks the latest step in a battle against the disease, which has proven deadly for toddlers and teenagers alike, and, even in non-fatal cases, resulted in serious illness.
So, the study sounds like a great idea, right? But maybe you don't know what meningococcal B is exactly. And maybe you're interested in finding out whether or not it can be transmitted through kissing. (We don't blame you.)
Read all about the study here and then come back to answer six quiz questions below. Complete the quiz and you'll go in the running for one of five $50 Rebel Sport gift cards!
That's right. Find the answers here!
Answer all questions correctly and you will automatically go in the prize draw. If you don’t answer all questions correctly, you can always try again. (We're nice like that.) Competition closes 16/04/17. This competition is for residents of South Australia only.
