Three Foolproof Ways to Plan and Track Your New Year’s Resolutions

Don’t flake on your resolutions this year!

If you’re a "New Year, New Me" kinda person, you probably have a heap of goals set for yourself in 2022. But we get it—it’s easy to lose track of them all.

We’ve got you covered. For our iPad Challenge we want you to submit your best digital notes around the theme “Be The Better You”, and there’s mega cash prizes up for grabs! Check out the competition here.

Our student ambassadors are also here to help, sharing their own digital notes and resolutions for the New Year.

They're both university students who have designed some epic mood boards and checklists to set their resolutions in motion. To learn some more tips, keep reading!

1. Make your resolutions digital.

You don’t need a dozen different notebooks to make your life more difficult.

In this age of syncing and centralisation on your digital devices, why not keep your New Year’s Resolutions in the pixel realm, too?

If you’ve got an iPad and Apple Pencil, the world is your oyster. Simply open your Notes app or any note taking app available on the App Store and go crazy with visual resolution and goal trackers, all from your imagination.

Bailey loves to use Procreate as a graphic design student. You can download from the App Store here. Jerome prefers GoodNotes for its specialised notetaking capabilities.

2. Make your resolutions aesthetic.

You’re not gonna follow through with your resolutions if they’re written half-heartedly on a plain ol’ boring whiteboard.

Create digital notes that bring your New Year plans to life! Check out some examples from Student Edge ambassadors for our iPad Challenge.

Jerome created a mood board to get the good vibes flowing, while Bailey created a checklist to visualise her progress.

If you design some killer notes you’re proud of, submit them to our iPad challenge here. There are three $1000 grand prizes up for grabs, plus weekly prizes of $200!

3. Make your resolutions collaborative.

Why not make it a shared note and add your friends?

Get your mates around the New Year spirit and see what creativity you can unleash together.

The best part about this is that you’re holding each other accountable. If you’re updating your progress in live time, get a bit of competitive spirit going. Who can complete the longest streaks?

The App Store has curated collections specifically for getting your New Year rolling. Check out their top picks for “Achieve anything this year” and “Tools for self renewal”.

You literally have no excuses! Go forth and manifest your best 2022 life, and make sure to share any digital notes you create through our iPad Challenge here for some huge wins.
