Get around Student Edge’s iPad Challenge and show us what your notes are made of!

You can create epic digital notes and designs with iPad and Apple Pencil, and we’re challenging you to show us yours. Some examples of submissions could include:

•        A to-do list
•        A mind map or brainstorm
•        Exam revision or study notes
•        Diagrams/sketches/models
•        A journal entry
•        A timetable
•        New Year’s resolutions

… Anything that shows off your creative note-taking skills using iPad and Apple Pencil!

How can I take part?

There are two ways you can enter the iPad Challenge:

• Freestyle category - Submit any type of note you like, as long as it’s made on iPad with Apple Pencil. It could be an idea you're exploring, a concept you're learning, or a problem you're solving.
• Themed category - Student Edge will announce a monthly theme, under which you can submit an entry (or multiple entries). These themes are all about sparking inspiration to get your creativity flowing.

This challenge is open to anyone who lives in Australia and creates notes on an iPad with Apple Pencil. You can use your own iPad, borrow a friends’, or check your local Apple Store opening hours to get doodling!

Check out the themed category for inspiration, or unleash your creativity in the Freestyle category (where you’ve got free rein to submit any type of notes you like).

Instagram Submission Instructions

Upload a photo or screenshot of your entry to your personal Instagram account with the hashtag #MadeOniPad, #SEiPadChallenge, and your category of entry hashtag in the caption.

The best submissions will be shared on the Student Edge gallery webpage for all to admire. 

What’s in it for me?

The challenge will run for 8 weeks, with 1 winner per week receiving a $200 gift card. Plus, 3 Challenge Champions will each win a whopping $1000 Visa eGift Card.

We’ll be choosing winners based on the clarity and creativity of their submissions.

Balance is key. Set yourself up for success by developing a life schedule that allocates time throughout the week for all your commitments, including work, study, hobbies and exercise.

How long will the challenge run?

The challenge will run for 8 weeks – the competition starts 12:00AM AEST on 10/1/22 and ends on 6/3/22 at 11:59pm AEST.

I want to enter the challenge but I don’t have an iPad or Apple Pencil. How can I participate?

No worries! If you can't borrow a friend's iPad, check your local Apple Store opening hours to get doodling!

Is there a limit to how many times I can enter the challenge?

No! 

Who can enter the iPad Challenge?

Any Australian resident over the age of 13 can enter.

Do I have to be a member of Student Edge to participate?

No!

Do I have to be an Australian resident to participate?

Yes.

How is the challenge judged?

We will be choosing winners within each category (Freestyle, Theme 1 and Theme 2) based on the clarity and creativity of their submission.

How will I know if I win? 

We will contact you via Instagram, phone, or email. Winners will be announced on Student Edge's social media accounts. Best of luck!
